The reason I'm still here

Today I worked at the pharmacy where I worked last Thursday. The one that I hated. Turns out I didn't hate it so much this time. I don't know what the difference was. It still wasn't a whole lot of fun, but at least I wasn't miserable. I'm scheduled to go out there again on Thursday, too, but only for a half-shift. Today my scheduler called me up and cancelled a whole bunch of the shifts I had scheduled. Apparently one particular pharmacy decided they didn't need a relief pharmacist after all. At least not from my company. I don't think it had anything to do with me personally because I haven't worked there yet.

Anyway, I think my NaNoWriMo story is coming along pretty well. It's going a little slowly and I'm perpetually behind schedule, but I'm not too far behind. I need to get ahead though so I can compensate for missed time during Thanksgiving.

Tonight as I was driving home there was a very gorgeous sunset. I tried to take a picture of it, but all I had with me was my Palm and I was driving on one of those loopy freeway on-ramps so this is the best picture I could come up with:
