I took Roo to his swim lesson this morning and it made me kind of sad: eight months from now I won't be able to do this sort of thing with him any more. Unless I can find someone to watch the baby, Roo and I won't be able to be involved in any activities together. And the same with the baby, too. At least for the first year of the baby's life, Roo will be too young for pre-school, and perhaps for the second year too. Until then, all activities will be the three of us. Which means no swim lessons and no Little Gym. I guess I'll just have to get more creative. Or convince my mom to retire and come live near us!
